Resource Title Reconnecting Youth: A Peer Group Approach to Building Life Skills
Summary A school-based prevention program that teaches life skills in a positive peer group to build resiliency against risk factors and control early signs of substance abuse and emotional stress. Targeted for students with high dropout potential because of low credits for graduation, high absenteeism, recent drop in grades, or a record of dropping out of school. RY is a semester-long class offered for credit and by personal motivational invitation.
