Resource Title National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
Summary NAMI California is an organization of families and individuals whose lives have been affected by serious mental illness. NAMI staff and members advocate for lives of quality and respect, without discrimination and stigma, for all constituents. They provide leadership in advocacy, legislation, policy development, education and support throughout California. NAMI provides resources for schools throughout the state with two specialized programs for school districts. Ending the Silence and Parents and Teachers as Allies both provide support and training to schools at no cost.
